Parent Tips are provided by the United Services for Effective Parenting-Ohio, Inc. as a tool to assist parents, teachers, grandparents and all who help to care for and to raise our children. For more Parent Tips refer to the links at the bottom of this Parent Tip.

Winners this year are ~
#1  "Look, Mommy is Making Sure I'm Safe Already"  Hannah Jefferis, Fairborn Digital Academy, Greene Co. Career Center, Nancy Myers, teacher.
#2  "Look Mom!  I'm Learning from You How to Keep My Baby Safe!"  Victoria Myers, Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, Austintown, OH; Julie Pagnotta, teacher.
#3  "I Like My Seatbelt Nice and Snug, Around My Hips Like a Big Bear Hug"  Courtney VanWinkle, Benjamin Logan High School, Rushsylvania, OH; Lois Stoll, teacher.
Honorable Mention: "Click It or Ticket" Ethan Kinney, Benjamin Logan High School, Kenton, OH; Lois Stoll, teacher.

All of the 2016 photos were displayed in the Riffe Center for the Arts in the Statehouse Complex through May and early June and will be displayed in several venues, including the NAWHSL (National Association of Women Highway Safety Leaders) Conference in Seattle, and the OATFACS (Ohio Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Science) both in August 2016.  The 2015 Discover Parenting Exhibit was recently on display at the Kalahari Conference Center in Sandusky, Ohio during the all Ohio Early Childhood Education Conference.
